Clara has over 15 years of international experience in the improving the sustainability of extractive industries, from performance minerals to biomass and, more recently, the jewellery value chain.
During her career, Clara has worked with leading global corporations, gaining experience in different voluntary sustainability standards and certifications, such as ISO26000, the Sustainable Biomass Program, the Forest Stewardship Council, the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification, and the Responsible Jewellery Council.
Clara’s work is driven by her passion for stakeholder management, human rights, Indigenous people’s rights, social license to operate, and responsible, ethical, transparent, and sustainable value chains.
Argentinean by birth and Italian by descent, she is based in the United Kingdom. Clara holds a Master’s Degree in CSR and Sustainability and is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Her role at TDi involves program management of existing standard schemes, where Clara wishes to continue working closely and collaboratively to support the creation and improvement of robust, credible, and impactful standards that guide change towards a more sustainable and just future.
